Vintage Pet-O-Fone portable gramophone from the mid-1920s, also referred to as a picnic gramophone. This wind-up, acoustic phonograph is self-contained within a wooden carrying case. The integrated design features a conical cavity for sound amplification, with the mouth of the amplifier located between the top of the case and the lid when fully opened. This lot includes the main sound reproducing arm and multiple needles or styli stored within custom-fitted compartments. The case shows wear and the handle is missing.
