This lot features two 1865 Two-Cent Pieces, both professionally graded as Poor (P-1). The coin shown in the photographs exhibits heavy, even wear on both sides, with key details such as the motto 'IN GOD WE TRUST' on the obverse almost completely worn away. The date is visible but weak, and the coin has a consistent dark brown patina. This Two-Cent piece is historically significant as it was the first U.S. coin to bear the motto 'IN GOD WE TRUST', emerging from the Civil War era. A perfect entry-level or space-filler example for any collector. Inventory #48.
